“Dinner was delicious, Joe, thank you.” Avery said as Joe was setting his bowl in the sink. That was a good way to make it up to him, even if it was just a small gesture like saying she enjoyed his cooking. That’s the best way to get on his good side. “I don’t know if you know, but my aunt is the designer of the kitchen set that you use." she said, directing her words towards Joe rather than me.
