Blake was intent on having a more in-depth conversation about his plans, but I didn't really want to listen. I, in fact, did not want to be around him after the kiss we had shared and its impact on me. His phone rang again, and he picked it up before it even had a chance to ring twice, giving me an excuse to leave the study without a glance back.
