Seventy - eight:

1162 Words

Rhyder's POV. I could feel my entire body tremble with restrained rage as I pushed Alexis back, forcing her into the dining room and making her take a seat at the table. Her bottom lip quivered uncontrolably and tears streamed down her flushed cheeks. I didn't care. I didn't care that she was crying. I didn't care that she was hurt after seeing my ring on Grace's finger. And I didn't care that she was scared. I didn't care about Alexis. All I cared about was Grace and Tate - keeping them safe and eliminating any and all threats to them. I didn't know how yet, and I didn't know why. But Meghan was a threat. She had clearly lied to Grace for years and used her only to get to me. I didn't know Meghan - had never even seen her before the night I found Grace after her father's funeral.
