A part of me felt like I was a terrible person because I didn’t let Landon come to my house. But I wanted him to know that he couldn’t just show up and try to fix things whenever it was convenient for him.
After the call ended, I dropped my phone on the nightstand and went to bed. I closed my eyes and forced myself to drift off to sleep, but sleep didn’t come.
