When I woke up the next morning, the first thing I did was grab my phone from the table and dial Landon’s number.
I had passed out on the couch.
As I waited for him to answer, I stood up and made my way to my bedroom. The call disconnected after a few seconds.
What was happening?
I tried again, and he still didn’t respond.
Letting out a deep sigh, I tossed my phone on the bed and made my way to the bathroom.
I showered and got dressed.
By the time I was done, I picked up my phone to check if Landon had returned my call. But my face formed into a frown when I didn’t see any notification from him.
