Just as I threw a punch at Landon, I turned back and saw that Abby had already entered her car.
Landon didn’t hold back, he hit me before I could turn back. I held my temple where he had punched as I stumbled back.
The car door slammed shut, the sound echoing in my chest, louder than it should have.
