“Have you talked to any of them yet?” Mia asked as soon as she joined me on the bed.
I shook my head. “No, I’ve even stopped trying to reach out to them. Maybe this is the end and I should just give up.”
Mia reached for my hand. “Maybe they just need space to process everything. You can try again tomorrow.”
“I guess so,” I murmured. “I just find it hard to believe that both of them would shut me out at the same time.”
They didn’t even care to check if I’d returned to New York or not. One called me a b***h, and the other one said I should rot in Paris.
