A bitter scoff escaped my lips as I read the supposed apology text message from Caleb.
He didn’t even feel any hint of remorse about what he did. I was certain he only apologized because Landon asked him to, or maybe it was Liam who threatened him.

He wanted to make it seem like I had no idea what I was talking about. He didn’t want to own what he did. That guy was unbelievable, and an asshole.
