The words slipped out of my mouth before I realized how stupid they sounded.
I was clearly dismissing Abby but it wasn’t intentional. I didn’t know how to control the situation or know the right things to say.
The whole ride to her house, I was thinking of the right things I would say to her to resolve the issue.
But nothing came to my mind.
I’d never seen Abby so angry since I met her. I didn’t want to upset her even more, but I already failed woefully.
Our relationship was already rocky.
