“Stay away from her.” Asher snarled, positioning himself between me and the thing. His growl was deep, animal, shaking the air. The Skinwalker only smiled, sharp teeth gleaming. Then, in a blink, it dissolved into crows again, reappearing in the kitchen. The crash of dishes followed. Then it was in the hallway. Then upstairs. It moved like a phantom, everywhere at once. “Keep it cornered!” Asher barked to his brothers. The twins didn’t hesitate. Gage shifted partially, his arms bursting into thick fur and claws.
