“Asher Vale.” He said, voice carrying authority even through exhaustion. “Alpha of Moonflare Pack. This is my mate, Trinity.”
The guards exchanged a look. “You’re not on the list. No visitors are allowed inside Ironclaw territory. Alpha’s orders.”
“Why?” I asked.
The second guard stepped forward. “Because something’s wrong in your region. We’ve heard about what’s happening at Moonflare. An intruder manipulating packs, shifting alliances. We’re under strict lockdown until it’s resolved.”
“That’s why we’re here.” I said firmly. “We’re the ones trying to stop her.”
The guards’ expressions hardened. “Step back. No one passes through.”
