“Stay close!” He shouted through the bond. I nodded, pushing myself up, but then I felt it—something else. A new power. It wasn’t mine. It wasn’t the Eclipse wolves’. It was heavy, ancient, and coming from deep within the forest. The Eclipse Alpha froze mid-fight, eyes darting toward the trees. Even her wolves hesitated. For a moment, the night went still. Then a figure stepped out of the darkness. A tall man cloaked in black, hood pulled low over his face. He moved like he didn’t belong to this world—graceful, quiet, dangerous. The shadows seemed to part for him. Everyone—both sides—watched in silence. He walked straight past the Eclipse wolves and stopped beside me. “Who are you?” I demanded. My voice was rough, my body still trembling from the energy I’d used. He didn’t answer
