It was some time later when Kamalina and Maggie emerged from the bedroom and headed back toward the cabana. The curtains were drawn and when Kamalina poked her head between them, she was not altogether surprised to find Simon stretched out on the bed, Mike laying next to him, running his fingers through her husband’s sandy hair. “Hey,” Kamalina called softly. “You found us.” Simon turned at her voice and smiled. He had set his glasses aside, and wearing only his swim trunks he looked more relaxed than she had seen him in weeks. “I got a bit lost,” he admitted, “but Javier gave me a ride.” “Who’s Javier?” Kamalina asked.
