he practice was intense. Sara knew that she should have stretched better beforehand but she was in such a hurry and so tense from the fast approaching finals that just making it to the practice at all was an accomplishment.
She ran track and field well and was usually far more careful, but today, she just wasn’t into it. So, of course this had to be the day that the coach was sizing them up for the big competition next week. Therefore, the coach had decided to run them hard and relentlessly.
