Pam looked at herself in the mirror and tried to tell herself that this was a good idea. Katy had assured her that it was, in fact, a good idea and surely Katy wouldn't lie to her. But maybe Katy was simply wrong about this. Maybe it wasn't a case of her lying but simply being out of touch with the way that things were these days. Pam thought back, trying to remember the last time that she had gone to a bar. She really couldn’t recall when it had been at all. As she thought about it she was shocked to realize that maybe she hadn’t been to a bar since she had married. She certainly hadn’t been to a bar like this - going out with one of her friends who told her that it was time for her to find a man - for many years now.
