I couldn’t believe it.
I was pregnant.
The two faint pink lines stared back at me, steady and undeniable, like the world had stopped spinning just to let me see them.
I blinked once. Twice. Three times.
But they were still there.
It wasn’t a trick of the light.
It wasn’t some cosmic joke.
It was real.
My hands were shaking so badly I almost dropped the test. My heart was pounding in my throat, in my fingertips, everywhere. It felt like my whole body had turned into one giant heartbeat.
