Lila I made it through the rest of Monday without apologizing to anyone for breathing, which I decided deserved some kind of award. Okay, that wasn’t completely true. I apologized to a freshman when she stepped on the back of my shoe, which made absolutely no sense because technically she should have apologized to me. Then I told the lunch lady I was sorry because I couldn’t decide between fries and tater tots fast enough. After that, I nearly apologized to a desk when I bumped my knee against it, but thankfully I caught that one before the words came out of my mouth. That would have been a new low.
