She’d slept late this morning, until mid-morning. No one had bothered to wake her, not even Karsyn, who was stretched out next to her in their bed just watching her sleep. His hand had been on her belly casually caressing her baby bump, she’d looked up at him, and he’d smiled at her. Told her she was groaning in her sleep and touching her belly.
She’d sighed a little, “It doesn’t really hurt.” and it didn’t, but she did note her belly was bigger again. So had he, smiled about it, asked if Avalon knew what it was yet. She’d thought about it and so had Avalon and gotten a no, shook her head up at him. “I guess you really want to know.”
“Mm, I guess I do.” he’d hugged her, “I want a son, but I also want a daughter too.”
“Oh, is that so?”
