I eyed the others to not make a move as it will trigger Irene into taking a step in hurry. Ravyn and I sneaked inside the house to go upstairs in search of them.
They were on the rooftop and now that we were already rushing upstairs, we could hear them talk.
“Why? What did my innocent brother to do deserve this?” Irene was whispering and crying at the same time. It appeared as they have just arrived because Irene was only getting started.
“You killed a child to prove yourself superior,” Irene had been keeping all these emotions inside her for hours by now, “My parents lost all the means to fight back, look I am left with nothing now,” Irene sniffled, sobbing but making sure she delivers her pain.
