I put the finishing touches on my makeup and straighten my blue wrap dress. An image of the woman that thinks she has some claim on my husband pops into my head unbidden. I quickly push it away and remind myself this is not a competition. Kael chose me. A smile crosses my features when I think about waking up in Kael's room this morning.
