Two months later:
Tonight is the first night that I will be spending without Liam. It's our anniversary, and I’m already teary as we drop him off at my parents’ home. They will take the first day, and the Billingsleys will take the second. We will return home on the third day. We were using my father’s jet to go back to Italy for a short trip. I had expressed plenty of milk for Liam, and I knew he would be in great hands.
Both sets of grandparents were thrilled to have him overnight. I had hired a nanny, and Ginger would be going with him.
