I had figured it out. Dominique was the more vocal, but not the smarter, of the two women. It wasn’t the first time that she had done something like this. She always tried to act like she was innocent, preferring others to take the fall for her. She’s done this for a while, and it’s worked for her all this time.
Katherine was still pretty stunned at being hit. Dominique just realized that Katherine had been using her, and I guess she didn’t take it very well. I don’t blame her at all, because this probably wasn’t the first time that Katherine had done her like this. Realization had hit, and she was understandable angry. I would be too.
It’s not a great feeling knowing that you’ve been taken advantage of and used. Especially when you believed the lie she told you
