I'd meant to just reassure her with words. But instead, I found myself pulling her into my arms, wrapping her up in my warmth.
She fit against me easily, her head tucked under my chin. Her scent wrapped around me, sweet and vulnerable.
Orion purred softly. *Better. She needs to know she's safe.*
"I don't care about status or bloodlines," I murmured into her hair. "You're Winter. You said you wanted to marry me. So I'll marry you. Even if you're not a Storm anymore. Even if the entire Pack turns against you. It doesn't change anything."
