I heard that the alliance between the Lockwood Pack and the Stoneheart Pack was being postponed.
After the engagement, lawyers had begun sorting through assets and divisions. Then Sophie's scheme with the kidnapping came to light.
The Laurents had thoroughly offended the Storm Pack. Even if Adrian didn't actively retaliate, any future cooperation between the families was now impossible.
