"What?" I called out, not bothering to hide my irritation.
"Alpha, there's a... situation." Derek's voice came through the door. "Alpha Ethan just arrived. He says it's urgent."
I carefully extracted myself from Lina, pulling on a pair of sweatpants before opening the door.
Ethan stood in the hallway, his usual smirk replaced by a grim expression.
"What's wrong?"
"You need to see this." He held out his phone. "My contact in the Connecticut Pack Enforcement Department just sent it over. Linus has been released."
