I woke up in Ravenport General Hospital.
The first person I saw was Jasper.
"How did I get here?" My voice came out hoarse and unfamiliar.
Jasper poured water into a glass with practiced ease, his expression carefully neutral.
"You collapsed last night. Have you been skipping meals again? You're working yourself to death, Lina. If this continues, I'm going to have to quit your job *for* you."
His words dripped with possessiveness.
