I think I am still in a little shock from the hug that Seraphina gave me. It was unexpected. Dad has not let me go since he got here. I don’t blame him if I am honest. I am his daughter. Dad even hugged Cyrus. Seraphina smiled at me and my father, “You need to get home, now.”
“What? Why?” Dad asked.
“Lilah is about to go into labor,” Seraphina replied.
Scarlett turned when she heard Seraphina, and said, “Go.”
She returned to her tasks at hand. Dad and I looked at each other, and I said, “Go, Dad. Go to mum. I will be there as soon as I can.”
