“We go to war,” the moment the words slipped from my lips, everyone’s face shifted to one of determination. They were all waiting for orders, but they were no less determined. It was now or never.
I returned to Damien and Birsha, because I could feel their concern coming through our bond. But I knew something else that none of them would have known. The magical trackers I had placed on Einar and Lilah, there was movement. I could feel them moving. They had both been in the same place for quite some time, and then Einar moved. He went to a completely different area from where he was with Lilah. Not ten minutes later he was back where Lilah was. A part of me knew that he had left like that because he was getting someone or collecting something.
