A few hours later, Aeden came to a stop and signaled his men to set up some sort of camp. We didn’t move, because honestly, they didn’t say anything. Harlan chuckled when he saw how stiff we all were. I think everyone was bracing for an attack, not that we were going to sit down, relax and eat something.
“We're going to stop for some food. We are half way there. About ten more minutes, and we will be at the cave entrance to the forbidden city,” Harlan told us.
“Then we will be walking through dark caves. There are some tight spaces as well,” Aeden added.
“How long will we have to move through the caves?” Abadrax asked.
“A few hours. It is a maze, and in some parts we will have to walk single file,” Harlan replied.
