Ember was doing an incredible job with the ring of fire. She was basically keeping all the spider-like creatures from getting to us. I am worried about her. She is not as strong a demon as the rest of us. I know she has been getting stronger since we mated, but she is a lot stronger. It doesn’t stop me from worrying.
I tried my best to concentrate on the task at hand. There were so many that have been corrupted. They are old, ancient even.
