Ember’s POV-
Today is my eighteenth birthday. This morning my dad awakened my demon. So, now I can change into both. Cyrus has been able to change into his demon for six months now. Our mate bond only intensified when Cyrus turned eighteen. So, these past six months have been very hard. We both agreed to wait to mate until I turned eighteen, and we could have our mating ceremony. Cyrus has to have one because he is a prince.
I didn’t want to have a birthday party today, because I wanted to have my mating ceremony more than anything else in the world. So, for lunch today, I had a huge feast with my family and friends. Cyrus and I were in his bedroom. I was moving my stuff into his bedroom. Not that I could actually unpack much of it, because Cyrus wouldn’t take his hands off of me.
