Abadrax’s POV-
I felt almost complete right now, especially with Cassie holding my hand. She accepted my gift and didn’t call it weird that I was giving gifts to her already. We walked hand in hand towards the park. It was only a few blocks from her apartment and she wanted to walk. I offered to drive us there first, and then we could walk around the park, but she wanted to walk and I already couldn’t refuse her.
As we walked through the park, I asked, “How has your day been?”
“Honestly, I was a little bit stressed out and nervous,” she replied.
“Is this your first date?” I have to admit I was curious if I was the only guy she had ever considered going on a date with.
Cassie looked down at the ground for the briefest of seconds before looking up at me, and nodded, “My first ever.”
