Book 6-Chapter 9

1677 Words

Abadrax’s POV- After Seraphina showed me what she saw, I wasn’t able to stop pacing my room. I never saw signs of Cassie ever going through all of that. I mean I suspected it based on what her uncle had said, but I didn’t want to believe him or his sins. I have followed her home so much, hiding in the shadows where she can’t see me. So, I tried to give her some space when I could, like when she is asleep. When Cassie goes to sleep, I usually leave her alone after that, leave her to her dreams. Maybe it is time I watched her sleep, and see what is in her dreams. That is probably the only way I will be able to find out what the truth is. I doubt she will tell me on our first date, or maybe ever. I decided to go and check on her while she was sleeping. I teleported into Cassie’s bedroom.
