Abadrax’s POV-
Six years of watching my sister become distant but driven. Cold but caring. Fierce but gentle. Out of control, but controlled. Seraphina has hardened into a darker version of herself. I think the only thing holding her together is the fact that she visits Orion, wherever he is, with Jareth. I am grateful to Jareth. He has really been there for Seraphina.
One thing I have always known about Seraphina, is when she is hiding things. She hides a lot of things. She has ever since Orion got cursed. It is clear she is, when she doesn’t tell anyone how powerful she is getting. Or, when she keeps saying we need to keep training as hard as we can.
“Why are you always reading books like this?” I asked Seraphina, leaning over to look at the book she had on Fae and Sprite law.
