Abadrax’s POV-
Two of them, that is how many had seen us in the park and that is how many had led this band of weak humans to stop us. My biggest concern was Cassie’s safety now. I know I could teleport us out of there, but the problem is she doesn’t know yet. Humans get easily disorientated, and I do not want her to get sick. So, I had no choice but to reveal who I was and fight them.
I have to admit that I was fearful of revealing who I was, but not because I could not fight these angels, but I feared what Cassie would say. Even when she said beautiful, I could still see the confliction in her eyes. I hoped it was just confusion about the fact that I was so different to what she actually knows about demons, or maybe it was the fact that she didn’t believe this world existed.
