Seraphina’s POV-
Orion and I were fast asleep in our chambers in the demon world. We had gone there because we had to be here for Abadrax’s mating ceremony, and we decided to stay until our baby was born, because demon pregnancies and births can be the hardest thing in the world to deal with especially if you do not have the right support behind you. It has been just over a week and a half since I found out I was pregnant, and Doctor Heller thinks I will be delivering any day now.
As we slept, I felt the feeling of claws scraping the inside of my belly, followed by a sudden gush of liquid from between my legs. I woke up instantly, and grabbed Orion’s hand, shaking him. He woke up straight away, and asked, “My love, are you okay? Is the baby okay?”
