After both of the councils had left, leaving me with Cyrus, his siblings and his parents, I began to wonder if it was best that I excused myself. Scarlett and her mates headed over to the sofas around the fireplace, gesturing for us to follow.
I didn’t move though. Cyrus turned to look at me concerned. “I think it is best that I go to my room, this seems like a family discussion,” I whispered.
“Nonsense, you are Cyrus’ mate,” Abadrax said, as he flopped down on the sofa.
