I was glad Cassie listened to me, but I was still worried she would refuse this path. She still clearly loved how the mate bond was making her feel. The pull was intense and if she could feel it as much as I could, then she must hate the idea of being away from me already. I hate being away from her.
I could also tell that her mind was racing. That she was focusing on everything I had told her. The best thing I could do is give her time to think. She was going to need as much as she could get to decide her path. I won’t force her, but I know we will both suffer if we do not become one.
