Jess got out of her car, stood up and straitened and stretched out her back a little, and then she closed the door and leaned on the car to wait for Rydge and his unit to come down from his office. She'd texted him five minutes ago that they'd be arriving shortly. He'd texted back. 'I can see on the app, meet you downstairs', he hadn't even wanted her to come into the city today. He would much prefer her to be inside the pack right now.
She smiled a few minutes later as she saw Rydge and his unit step out of the elevator, at the back of the foyer of their head office through the glass front of the building. She and her girls were here, to have lunch with him and his unit.
She pushed off the car and took a step towards the building as Harvest picked up the scent of
