Ethan reached Reese first and wrapped her in a hug. Marcus followed with one of his own, smiling as he congratulated her. Reese laughed, thanked them both, and somehow looked even happier than she had a few minutes earlier.

"I told you she would be," Marcus replied.
Reese smiled.

Ethan turned to me.
