I knew going back to Lucas’s house would bring back some terrible memories, but that was exactly what I needed.
Lucas asked for my opinion on where we would stay during our time in New York. I asked the girls, and they wanted to stay at his house.
I didn’t protest against it because I needed a reminder of why I should stick to my revenge plans against Lucas. I didn’t want to get too comfortable to the point where I would lose sight of my main goal.
