I ended the call and looked at Amelia. Charles buying shares through other companies meant he'd been preparing something long before Ethan became public. I didn't know how my son fit into his plans yet. I intended to find out before Charles got another chance to use him.
"How much has he bought?" Amelia asked.
"Daniel didn't say."
"Enough to matter?"
"I'll know tomorrow."
