I asked Daniel whether Martin had explained why Rebecca no longer trusted Laura. He said investigators had asked the same question, but Martin claimed Rebecca hadn't given him a reason. That didn't surprise me, considering how carefully he'd avoided discussing his own involvement. Still, I wanted to know what had happened between the two women.
"Did Martin tell them when Rebecca called?"
