July 21, 2024 - Today we gathered at the house to celebrate my mother's 41st birthday. With Gabrielle's birthday being today, that means that my birthday is tomorrow, and I will be turning 19 with my twin brother James. Not to be confusing, but my name is also Gabrielle.
It has been a tradition to name the first-born daughter in the family after my Fourth Great Grandmother, Gabrielle, who was born in 1873. I am the seventh generation of Gabrielle's, and the odd thing is that each of our birthdays falls within this same week in the middle of July.
I reside with my parents and my twin brother in the family home constructed in 1890. It has been remodeled a few times, but the bones of the home are the original 1890 home. M
