The moment came to a sudden end. It was her mom. She ran over to the stereo and turned it off. Then she repeated the question, "What is going on young lady?"
I was frozen with terror. I actually didn't know what to do. Then I realized she had a half of bottle of wine in her hand.
'Damn,' I remembered, we didn't put the wine away.
"Well, don't both answer at once!"
"Sorry Mom'" was all Linda could offer.
