I ended up staying at Dahlia’s house that night because she was the one with the most room. She lived in a house by herself and she had a spare bed in there. So I was more than happy to take it. When I finally lied down that night, I felt relief wash over me as I was finally able to lie down. The bed was a bit hard and not what I was used to, but I wasn’t going to complain. I stared up at the ceiling clutching my chest at where my necklace used to be. I kept trying to remember the last time I felt it hanging around my neck. It’s pretty heavy so I was usually aware of it. It had to be when I was running through the forest or when I was in the water. I could only imagine how the dragons are behaving at home.
