I stood there staring at Walker as he was standing in front of the fireplace. But I could see that he was just as nervous as I was.
I started walking closer to him and his eyes started to change color as I approached him.
“I don’t know what the hell is going on with me right now.” He said, trying to cover his eyes and get control of his wolf.
“You’ve been asking me a lot about mates since I got here. Has your wolf been going crazy for no reason?” I asked.
“Yeah.”
“Have you started to feel really out of breath and strange whenever you’re near me?” I asked.
“Ever since you arrived here.”
“My wolfsbane started to wear off this morning. That drug suppresses my wolf. But she’s not suppressed anymore. There’s more between us than you realize.” I said, reaching forward and touching
