Mary Ann’s POV
“Stay inside!”
Kylian’s command came through the broken vehicle door just before he threw himself at the nearest rogue.
His wolf struck with enough force to send the attacker crashing into the side of the road. The rogue rolled across the dirt, recovered quickly, and lunged again. Kylian met him halfway, teeth sinking into the other wolf’s shoulder while two more came from the trees.
The road had become chaos.
Ironclaw guards fought beside the damaged vehicles. Blades struck against blades. Wolves snarled and collided beneath the trees. Arrows flew from somewhere deeper in the forest, forcing everyone to remain close to the road where the vehicles offered some protection.
I crouched behind the rear seat, breathing hard.
