Mary Ann’s POV The garden did not look like a place where treaties were signed. That was the first thing I noticed. There was no raised throne. No giant Ironclaw banner behind the altar. No Nightveil crown waiting on a cushion. No Mooncrest council seated in a position of honor above everyone else. Instead, the three pack symbols appeared quietly around the garden. Ironclaw’s black wolf. Mooncrest’s silver crescent. Nightveil’s midnight branch. Equal. Separate. None larger than the others. Exactly as I wanted. And everywhere, there were wildflowers.
