“Ah, they are here,” The Moon Goddess says, and gets up to show someone to come over. I look behind me and see both my mates looking just as confused as I feel.
“Come, sit,” she says, and they walk over and sit on either side of me on the sofa. The Moon Goddess sits down in a white armchair right opposite us. “It's such an honor to meet all three of you. Yo are welcome to call me Selene. I have some things I need to tell you. I know you have many questions, and I will answer what I can,” she says, and we all nod.
“I know you feel like I failed you. But most of what happened was out of my hands. Your parents were never meant to die, Amelia. One of my abilities is having visions of the past, present and future. Some I can alter, and some I cannot.
